You see I grew up as a wild child, played by my own rules
Stubborn as a motherfucker, I don’t wanna go to school
Math class is boring, recess is old news
I just wanna chill and have fun like them older dudes
Night grew over the skies, demons creeping out of their spots to seek vengeance. She fought them off with a few 'scratches' but they were actually deep cuts that travelled from either side of her back from their claws.
Dean had thrown her out from his fit, he couldn't bear to hear her trying to stop him from drinking so he flipped. Not that she cared, she didn't need anyone in her life...did she?
Dean was a huge ass to her ever since she turned him down, she didn't give a flying fuck about what snarky remarks he'd throw against her, she'd flipped him off when he pushed her out the door but he could be nice usually and so she tolerated him. However, she loved Sam. I mean he was sweet, intelligent, funny and could put up with her shit but was always worrying about her and forbid her to hunt by herself...woops.
Now she was bound to a chair, dried blood stuck her hair to her forehead and she was content, a mischevious smile on her lips that said 'fuck-with-me-I-dare-you'.
A tall woman walked in along with a man who was fairly short, both had black hair and black eyes, white makeup with stripes of black along their lips, typical dramatic demons.
"Wow, Kiss fans in the building!" ____ chuckled, a groan of annoyance from the demons.
"You're going to die." They spoke together in monotone.
"Nah I ain't." She laughed dryly, her British accent thick.
"Well, Well, _____ _____." Crowley appeared from the shadows.
"Gosh you all look like the Addams family." She laughed.
"Shut it girly."
"Aww, wis Crowley weally mad, did your wittle doggies bite your ass?" She mocked a lisp, her smile never fading.
And so I did, and I never gave in
With my back to the wind and a goofy old grin
I was out for the sting, where I wanted I went
When they told me I’d lose, I just told them I’d win
Crowley grabbed her face, nails digging into her cheeks.
"You're going to be dead underneath me."
"That sounds like fun, but I'm too busy." She glanced up, her eyes glowing yellow.
Puzzled, he was about her hit her until she head butted him. She rolled on the floor with the chair still intact and tripped over one of the goons, stabbing him with the chair leg.
The girl pounced on her but failed because ____ jumped on her back, the chair shattering into pieces. She pulled out her gun and shot down the remaining demons.
Presense felt behind her, so she shot it in the skull without looking nor flinching.
"YOU GIRL! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE ONE DAY AND ILL WIPE THAT FUCKING SMILE OFF OF YOUR FACE, YOU'RE A PATHETIC WASTE OF SPACE YOU SARCASTIC BITCH-"
She sauntered over to a crippled Crowley, pulling him by the shirt to face her.
"Not gonna happen." She faked a innocent smile before kicking him in the face, his body unconscious.
And I snuck out of class, headed down the road
Ventured on home, call me Indiana Ommz
Said I’d never look back, I’d just set my own path
I don’t need a game plan, I can get my own map
She picked up her backpack and felt tears trickling down her face as reality slapped her; she was homeless. No way would just leave her. So, she wiped away the pathetic water works and continued walking to her truck. She picked up her phone and answered it, Sam.
"____ come back." He pleaded.
"I fought Crowley, he's unconscious." She said bluntly.
"WHAT?! We specifically told you NOT to go hunting, do you know how much danger you're in no-"
"You're welcome, Love you bye." She hung up, shoving her phone in her pocket and ignoring future calls.
The night stretched, dragging and it was so cold. She refused to admit her discomfort and longing to be home so she carried on walking. She thought about Gabriel, the years they spent together until he...died. She mourned everyday about his death so she put up a guard and told herself she'd never love nor accept anyone into her life again. This tough exterior was just a wall to protect herself and she could feel it breaking down, brick by brick.
"Y'know under all of that, you're a beautiful, fragile human."
"I've worked it out, you're too afraid to let anyone in."
"You're scared someone's going to come in and rip you to pieces-"
"I SAID SHUT UP!"
She fell into his arms, crying into his jacket, he was the only one who could soften her, make her feel fragile and vunerable. He smoothed her hair, rocking her.
She looked behind her, feeling her stomach grumble and her heart ache to go back home.
"Why did Gabriel have to go...if he was here now he'd tell you what to do. NO, I-I shouldn't think about him-"
"Well that's nice to know my girlfriend doesn't think about the adorable me." She froze, her whole body was trembling.
'Til girl meets boy and boy meets girl
Never would have thought that she would change his world
I remember that day, when we met up in the rain
She just looked me in the eyes, and she said one thing
She walked up to him, her eyes sore and her lips pressed tight together. As she got closer and closer, he could see the blood plastered to her body and he shook his head.
"You became what I hoped you wouldn't."
"You left so your hope went down the drain."
"I thought you were dead, I held your cold, dead body in my hands and swore to myself that I'd never love again. You were gone and I realized that I couldn't change that. I grew some balls and moved on, so don't think you can waltz over here and think you can change anything!" She yelled, fists balled.
"I was going to tell you-"
"When?! Two years I waited by my window hoping to see a glimpse of you. I met with the Winchesters and they actually told me the truth and looked after me, we may be arguing but friends are friends and they care enough to be there when I'm hurting. So take these words, these three little words and let them be the last you here from me."
She stepped closer to his ear.
I remember that day when we met up in the rain
She just looked me in the eyes and she said one thing
"Go fuck yourself." And she walked off, jumping into her truck and driving off, leaving him dumbfounded. She drove off, not glancing back and she sped through the traffic, arriving at the Winchesters.
She took a deep breath and then opened the door with her key, gingerly creeping in and undoing her boots.
Her back was sore and stinging like mad, Sam was bound to see the blood covering her white shirt. Blood was splattered on both her hands and her face.
"Oh my god you're alive!" Dean pulled her into a surprising hug and she returned it.
"Dean are you ill?" She joked.
"I'm sorry I kicked you out, I was drunk."
"Dude, it's fine."
"Sam's in his room, you're gonna get an earful so good luck." He patted her shoulder and she winced and hurried to his room.
Don’t you see what I am? See what I’m doing?
This is my life, don’t you see what I’ve ruined?
Drowned my gift, dropped my faith
Forgot my dream, I’ve lost my way
"Sammy?" She called, pushing the door and seeing him bitchfacing at her.
"What do you think you were doing?" He yelled.
"I was taking care of business."
"Our business which could of gotten you killed."
"Relax I'm fine." She tried to walk away but he grabbed her wrist and turned her to face the wall.
"This isn't fucking fine ____!" He was stunned, the gashes were huge and they were bleeding pretty bad.
"Sit down." She complied to his demand, afraid if she didn't do so he'd flip.
He removed her shirt and grabbed a sponge, towel, whiskey and the first aid kit.
First he wiped away the dry blood that was not near the cuts. Then dampened a cotton ball with whiskey and pressed it to the cuts, she winced in irritation.
After that, he sewed the cut shut and went over the healing wound with more whiskey, to be sure it wasn't going to be infected.
"What am I goin' to do with you?" He sighed, pulling her onto his lap.
"Can I tell you something?" She muttered, her voice thick with a sob.
"What's wrong baby?" He thumbed away her tears.
"I-I saw Gabriel." She cried, gripping to his shirt.
And there’s nobody to blame, nobody to go to
I was doing fine, why the fuck did I involve you?
Ready as I am I would never get the chance
To show you what I dreamt cause you’d never understand
She frozed, the same words Gabriel said when she was sad.
"I had a chance to let him back into my life as my friend and I blew it."
"____ it's not your fault, you were scared and frustrated, you had every right to flip him off." He reassured her, tilting her head.
I’m a cowboy by night, raider by the day
If I can find a saloon, I can find my way
Earn my living with my outlaw winnings
Y’all could spend it all with me but I just can’t stay
Now everything’s gone, everything’s lost
Promising to God, I’ve paid my cost
Never would’ve thought that she’d ever let us go
But she’s missing in my heart, I can feel it in my soul
She chuckled lightly, wrapping her arms around herself. Sam had never seen this side of her, from the stubborn girl she claimed to be from rebelling and foul language to a soft, delicate girl who was so confused with herself and her choices.
He pressed his lips to hers softly, lingering there until oxygen was required.
"Sammy, don't speak a word of this to Dean or I will cut your hair in your sleep."
"And the badass is back."
"And you know what?" She grinned, as Sam spun her around.
"Gabriel's too little too late."
What’s wrong? Who cares? So long, cold stare
I’ve been wrong about everything, you owed me
And if I had another chance to try it all again
Then you know you’d be looking at the old me
So if there’s anything left — anything at all
Let me write that song that'll put you in my arms
I can see you’re a star, but please don’t shoot
Please, at the least, let me speak my truth
“Too little too late,” she whispered in the wind
I wish you'd never left, this shouldn’t be the end
She always on my mind when I’m thinking in my zone
When there’s nothing left to drink and I’m sitting here alone
The cards are on the table, the odds are looking grim
Indebted to regret, there’s no profit in the win
I told her what she meant, just hope she remembers that
I sent it with a prayer but she never wrote a letter back
Gabriel stared longingly as she walked down the aisle, her eyes full of happiness, her smile radiant. The dress clung onto her in the best ways, the strapless, white gown sparkled and it made her look angelic.
She held onto Castiel's arm, he smiled proudly at his beautiful best friend, until she met her upcoming husband at the podium, Sam.
Vows were exchanged and Dean shed a happy tear, proud of his brother.
"-I pronounce you man and wife."
Gabriel's body ached and his heart torn as they shared their first kiss of their new life together.
Her new life without Gabriel, and she couldn't be any happier.
Gabriel...not so much.
I remember that day when we met up in the rain
She just looked me in the eyes and she said one thing
